Ah... Not feeling too good. I felt sore all over when I woke this morning. My throat started feeling slightly itchy in the afternoon which then progressed to the sore throat I'm having now together with the headache. Add in the flu. Bleh... I think I need to change my contact lens' degree. The words were blurred on the screen during my lecture and I had difficulty reading the bus number on my my home just now- 53 or 58? Turns out that my eyes had bled the number 3 into 8. Really need to get my eyes checked. Is this what they call astigmatism? Hmm...

Woke up in a relatively good mood despite feeling the soreness from last night's spar with my brother. But alas, it didn't last too long. I became pissed when the friend who I was suppose to meet at the interchange was late. She was the one who arranged the time and she was late. Not that ths was her first time being late. There was one time where we had to wait for 2 hrs for her. It's irritating when there's someone who's forever late for their appointments. I'll dislike people who makes people wait after the specified time. Lateness is lika a chronic problem which I wish I could do a project on that rather than on breast cancer that my group had choosen to do. Some people just don't learn to be on time. If it was her first time, I wouldn't really mind it. But this happens everytime we had a meeting. Haiz...

Had a little fun during the medical surgical tutorial where one of the subgroups had to present their case. Wow. One of the China students had learnt to speak Singlish. Wohoo. When she answered, she was like No lah. Where got. Haha. The whole class roared with laughter. And my clinical cum tutorial lecturer (the nice one), CH, was so frank to one of my oh I'm so high up there classmate. My said classmate, GS, was trying to put down the China girl, CM, when CH told GS to buy CM the diet soda GS was trying to get CM to explain. But GS asked back why should she and CH asked her, " You're not a nice person aren't you?" Wohoo... Score one to CH... The whole class roared with laughter once again and someone had to say, Now then you know, ah?. ^^

Oh, we were locked in during one of our tutorial by the attendant. She had to unlock the door back when we looked up from watching the homemade vid for one of our presentation She had locked the door 'coz she thought that there was no one in the classroom 'coz all the lights were switched off.. =p

Today was such a fun day... Except for the 3 hours break... Haha...

Blogging from school... A first for me... Feeling depressed at the moment since yesterday for no apparent reason. Sorry guys if i've offended you in any way... Just feeling pissed off with stuffs happenning around me. Having a headache that doesn't seem to go away... Gonna have my elective class later on at 3 and then the evening clinical class... Not realy looking forward to it... My stomach hurts too... My eyes are dry from being in the air-con room for extended periods. Oh... I found someone's student card in the com lab. T'was there on the table when I came.

Wish I could have my own com here. Then I could continue where I've left off from home. Oh... I watched the Rock Musical Bleach before I left for school... Not really watched it- skipped alot of parts.. XD Only watched Nagayan's and MoriEiji's part without skipping them.... Not really that great as I'd make it out to be. Maybe it's because I skipped alot of parts cause I was rushing for school =p Have to re-watch it carefully again...

Anyway, I'd watched Moon Child yesterday. Ohhh.. Hyde... Gackt.. vampires... mmmmh (yum yum... vampires... Daisuki, ne... )... It was soo cool in the beginning. Kei (Hyde's character) giving directions to Sho (Gackt).. Left, left... right, you idiot Lol... and the cigaratte part.... Isn't it cool, Kei Haha... I nearly cried at the friend against friend shootout though...

Ok... What is it with Japanese shows that makes me wanna cry at the end?... I didn't realised it at first. Only got a clue when I watched 1 Litre of Tears. Then I realised that I felt like crying at the end of Tenimyu 5 too... their graduation show... their speeches... sob sob... But then again, who wouldn't... Ehehe... Go watch them and you'll get what I mean...

Oww... my headache's coming back with a vengence... It had relatively been less throbbing as I was typing this... But now... Oww....

Hoi hoi....

Jesse came over today and we had a blast watching the Tenimyus. I think I converted her to be a fan of Tenimyus.=p We didn't really had time to watch all the Tenimyus I had. Missed the last 2 when she had to leave. Anyway, it was, lets say, about 6 plus - 7 hours straight of Tenimyu concentrated time spent. ^^ I showed her the Dream Live 2nd first as it was the most crack filled of the musicals but she didn't get most of the jokes so I switched it to Dream Live 1st which has been subbed. She'd eventually regained her sense of bearing as we watched the musical though she was a little confused about the casts as the ones from DL 2nd were actually the 2nd cast for Seigaku whereas, the cast for DL 1st were the original ones except for Ryoma played by Yuyan and Kikumaru played by Nagayan (though I treat the latter as part of the original cast). She got confused alot when watching the 2nd myu even after I'd explained the reason for the change in line up due to Yanagi's untimely accident. Anyway, I really hope she really did understand my explainations. You do, don't you Jess? ^^

We had the same opinion on TakiEiji being Tezuka. That I have no problem with. But she just had to keep dissing on my favourite actors/singers when she was still watching DL 1st. But as we watched the others in order now, she'd eventually changed her mind and saw what I've seen in the actors/singers that she'd kept commenting on as we watched the rest. ^^ And we both agree that most of the actors from the first cast were better than the ones that follows; though we were fast forwarding on the new casts' performances as we were running out of time. >.<

Happy Lunar New Year!!! Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!

I've been busy with school. Yea right. Who am I kidding? I've been skipping lectures like nobody's business. (Well, it is nobody's business technically.) I'm thinking of spending my long weekend break meaningfully (hopefully). =p I need to catch up with Bio, complete some semblance of the various projects I've got to do on GE and BPH and CA Breast and whatnot. This semesters' Bio just turn my brain into pure mush. I would understand why we as nursing students need to study the GIT but the brain? About the electrical impulses? Hello? It just short circuited whatever I already had up there (not that I had much anyway).

Last Friday was totally sucky. I only had an hour long Bio lecture which I thought for once I'd attend after ditching for 2 lectures straight (because the breaks in between were killing me- 4 hours straight) to try and gain some knowledge and what did i gain? Zilch, zero, nothing, nil. So much for being the good student, huh. But, even before that, I couldn't really understand what the lecturer was talking about. I got to know from my clinical lecturer that my Bio lecturer is a new lecturer. Whoopie. Just great. And to make matters worse, I was stuck with Her Majesty the Drama Queen herself. By myself. During the entire lecture. And after the lecture in the library. Dammit.

Then I went to Sim Lim Sq to buy a pack of DVD R 'coz there's not enough space in my PC. Wanted to burn my Tenimyus and 1 Litre of tears (It's a nice sad jdorama. Go watch it. Really.) So when I got home, I went to do just that. But the programme kept saying to put in a blank cd which I've already done. I called my bro to come help me out and he took one look and said "Idiot. Why did you buy the DVD-R instead of DVD+R when that's what you can use for your com? " Yes, I know I'm a com idiot. You don't have to rub it in. So I've wasted $19 on that DVD-R. Anyone can use and need them? Maybe I can sell it to you?

And yesterday was just as bad. I planned to clean my whole room but in the end, I only managed to clean only half of the mess in my room. Yes, I'm a messy person. So, sue me. And I kept having trouble with the MU site. Hopefully the problem will resolve itself today. *Is crossing fingers tightly* My BT for Rock Musical Bleach and Tenipuri Perfect Live is going so so slowly. * Wonders when they are going to be completed*

Recently, I've been sucked into watching JDoramas after watching 1 Litre of Tears which I'd dled. Then came Waterboys season 1. Imagine my surprise when the version I'd dled came from S'pores own Channel 8. I still remembered it was showing at 11pm when I was in secondary school. I couldn't really watch them then 'cause for one thing, my parents hates me to watch TV late into the night. And for another, it didn't seem right to watch the drama in front of my parents who are rather conservative. But now, I've got them on my PC for me to watch at my own time. ^^

Jess' coming over on Tuesday to watch Tenimyus. Wohoo!!! I can't wait. We're gonna watch big yellow duckie dance, ne?... Ehehe... ^^

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha to my friends out there....

Went for the Hari Raya prayer and then to my maternal grandma's house. Yes, the one with the aunt I had a fight with. It's been erm let's see, about 2 months since I've last seen her? We talked about our birth year animals. You know, following the Chinese calander. And my uncle had to link about the 'Dragons' in our family. One dragon being the head, one, the body and the other one being the tail. About how the 2 ends are similarly fierce and the body being the confused one. Haha.... ^^ And how a violent 'Tiger' is on her way to becoming a nurse. Hmph... 'o'

Then, my whole family went and became butchers for a few hours. Buthering up the goats. Eww... I think my hands still smell of mutton. But I kinda had an impromptu bio lesson on the organs- the liver, lungs, etc.

Still haven't got myself into school mood yet. I hope it won't be like last sem though. Looked what happened to my grades. Haiz...

After reading an account (3 of them actually), I WANNA GO JAPAN AND WATCH KIMERU'S CONCERT!!!! They (concerts) sounded soo fun. And his merch... They're so cute!~ But I guess I'll have to like at least understand what the heck they're talking about before I can really enjoy it. Ehehe... I wanna watch the Bleachmyu too. My connection is so slow!~ (Wait, or was it low? Slow? Low? Ah, whatever.) *mourning*

PH tomorrow but I've got a feeling I won't be feeling much of it. Went to school today at 0630hrs to make it in time for my 0800hrs lecture in a flooded bus. I get to see the filthy waters going back and forth everytime the bus stops and moves forward again. -_-''' Yes, I know it rained the whole of yesterday (the same could be said for today too), but I'm just wondering how the water got in. The bus practically has leaks everywhere i that's the case. Anyway, my mp3 just had to run out of juice (although it states that it battery is full). And in the morning too. But luckily, the bus was quite enough for me to watch Hunter X Hunter relatively peacefully.^^

During clinical today, we learnt about suctioning the gastric contents and whatnot. Watched the video which we (including the lecturer) understand naught about what the host was saying. *_* Then we got into our groupings to practice where I shoved the NGT into the dummy. Ehehe... We had some problems getting the suction to work but when it finally does work, my friend was like jumping for joy just like a kiddie (mind you, she's the most, ahem, matured one in our group). But whatever it is, we had a preverse fascination watching the water flow into the suction container that we re-filled the saline bottle over and over again. XD Ah, time sure pass fast when you're enjoying yourself...

After watching 3 eps of Pink No Idenshi, I truly feel like poking the eyes of the main actress. Eeee.... She's just so.... Argh.... I think I'll just watch the eps for Takuya in the pink dress. 8D Goldilocks.... Ahaha....^_^

Reality!!!!

Two days back in school and I'm like- OH MY GAWD!!! I want my last sem bio lecturer back. Mrs Tan!!! I want you back!!! I've got this lecturer who apparently does not know his powerpoint contents. He then keeps spelling for us easy words like 'reflect' and just breeze through those medical jargons like 'mesentery' , 'mescolon', 'falciform ligament' and 'lesser/greater omentum'. Like, hello?!! What/Where the heck are they?! When the whole lecture hall replied that we don't understand a thing he's talking about when he asked, he just asked which part and then carry on with the rest of the lecture contents.... Argh!!!!

On a happier note, I think I'll get along quite nicely with my clinical lecturer. She's quite open minded compared to the previous lecturer. Luckily I've not had my 0800 class yet. But what's with this sems timetable? It's like practically everyday that I'll finish at either 1700 or after that. And they just have to put my clinical lesson to end at 2000 on Fri. There goes my early weekend that I had last sem.-_-'''

Too wide awake I am

School starts today after the mad scramble to select our choiced electives last night. Turns out that most of my groupmates have similar taste. About half of my group will be attending the same electives. Ah, well. To each his own, huh. Woke up at about 0545 because I forgot to change the timing for it. Shoot. Now I have to wait for 0830 to come by for me to leave my house. So much for sleeping in a little more for my 1000 class.....
